I started Kay's Sewing Basket N Things in 1999 with the goal of providing small businesses with affordable and effective seamstress services. Today, Kay's Sewing Basket N Things has grown serving many clients in West Virginia and surrounding states.
Our Team
My business is owned and operated by just myself, Kay Shaulis. I'm dedicated to helping our clients reach their sewing and alteration requests.
I started sewing at an early age. My grandmother and mother were the ones who inspired me and taughr me. For approximately 53 years I've sewn and made garments, altered clothing, designed and created suits, crafts, and a whole variety of sewing.
